What I Wore This Week | Palette A Week 5 {ft. FAKE Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette}

Alright, it’s been a week again and this time it was with my FAKE Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, and I gotta tell you… it was my funnest week yet. I had another week of just not really playing with makeup much due to physical and mental exhaustion, but the looks I played with were a great experience.

#100DaysOfMakeup: Day 22

My first experience with the TF Semi Sweet Fake was pretty good. I went for a neutral almost halo eye using Coconut Cream, Butter Pecan, and Mousse, then winged it out with my EYEKO Fat Liquid Liner.

This is actually an adaption from my first look, applied about an hour later because I wanted to play with more colors. This time I brushed some Pink Sugar up into it and added Nougat over the crease for more pink tones.

The second day with this palette I went for something bolder. I brushed out my brows with the Rum Raisin, and used Blueberry Swirl, Frosting, and Coconut Cream for a deep gradient eye. It’s not quite as blendable as I’d like and I think the real TF palettes are a lot better in this regard (from what I’ve seen – I have not gotten to try an authentic Too Faced Palette yet), but the pigment is great and even better built up with a base.

Today I worked with Caramel as my main color, with a touch of Rum Raisin, and the tiniest bit of Licorice on the lower lashline on the inner and outer corner. (Oh, and new hair… DIY!)

This is the most natural look I did throughout it, for Mother’s Day I finally played with the Peanut Butter shade on the outer crease feathered up, then brushed Coconut Cream across the rest of my eye, blending lightly with Nougat as a transition shade between the two. I’m also only using the Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer today on my lashes.

This week was so fun I actually can’t quite give it up yet, so I’m going to be continuing with a second week of my fake Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, and I really can’t wait to get my hands on one of the other palettes from them in the future – a real one!
