Birchbox vs Ipsy Spoilers {February 2016}

We’re counting down to the last day(s) before the Birchbox sample choice and just a few days out from the billing that cements that February box/bag for both Birchbox and Ispy. So the question is… what spoilers have you more excited?

About Birchbox: Birchbox is a $10.00 per month beauty subscription delivering 4-6 sample to full size beauty, cosmetic, skin, nail, and hair care products to your door every month. The samples are moderately tailored to your beauty profile, and you can earn around $6.00 (60 Birchbox points) every month by reviewing your products and sharing your box to Facebook OR Twitter. Points can be redeemed in $10.00 intervals for anything in the Birchbox store (except a subscription applied to your own account).

Each month, you can choose one sample for your next box from the Sample Choice (around the last week for the next month) and leave the rest random based on your profile, choose the Curated Box (where you receive exactly what is shown in the box), or skip the choice to have all of your samples chosen based on your beauty profile.

If you sign up between now and January 31st, you will receive the January 2016 Birchbox. To start your subscription with the February 2016 Birchbox, sign up on February 1st, or any day in the month of February.

YOU MIGHT RECEIVE: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye, Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish, Mary-Lou Manizer from theBalm CosmeticsSmashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil, or Mr. Write (Now) Eyeliner from theBalm Cosmetics in Jac B. Bronze or Scott B. Bordeaux.

About Ipsy: Ipsy is a $10.00 per month beauty subscription bringing 4-6 deluxe sample and full size beauty, cosmetic, skin, nail, and hair care products to your door along with a sleek makeup bag with a new design every month. These samples are moderately tailored to your beauty profile, and you can earn rewards points to get beauty freebies for reviewing and sharing your products and bag online every month.

Ipsy does have a waitlist, but you can sign up here, and skip the wait by sharing it to social media (shared with Only Me if it bothers you), and following their social media accounts. If you sign up and skip the wait between now and January 31st, you will receive the February 2016 Glambag.

You will NOT be able to get the February 2016 Glambag on or after 2/1.

I’m equally excited this month for Birchbox and Ipsy. I have 2 subscriptions through each company for this month due to perk deals.

  • For Birchbox I will be choosing the Hey Honey mask in one subscription, and the ARROW lip balm for the other.
  • For Ipsy I have high hopes and hope I can receive the concealer or nail polish, but would be happy to try any of the items, even another Mr. Write (NOW) if I can get it in Jac instead of Scott so that I can try both.

Which subscription do you think will win this month?

What are you most excited for?
